Serge Chapleau (born the December 5th 1945 with Montreal, Quebec) is a caricaturist Québécois famous.

Biography

After having studied painting and graphic arts with the school of the fine arts of Montreal, Chapleau creates, in 1971, a caricature of the chansonnier Gilles Vigneault for Perspectives , a weekly magazine distributed with the edition of Saturday of several Québécois daily newspapers. Published on full color page - a first with the Canada - it brings to the caricaturist an immediate success.

During the following years, Chapleau collaborates in several other publications, of which the Montreal-Morning , Week-End , Actualité and Us .
