Sensodrive

Sensodrive is the trade name of the controlled manual Gear box (or robotized Gear box) which equips the cars with the mark Citroen.

With this type of gear box, the passage speeds and the driving mode are entirely determined by electronic computer electronic computers. The accelerating and the Lever gear shift are not connected any more mechanically to the Moteur. Moreover, there is no more Pedal clutch.

This technology makes it possible the driver to choose between an automatic control, and a “manual” control in which it decides shiftings of speed. It thus succeeds the automatic gear box.
