The Casque of Gold 2002 is the 19th season of the championship of France of the second division of American football. She sees the sacring of the Servals of Clermont-Ferrand.

The regular season opposes 44 clubs divided into 4 conferences made up of 11 hens. At the end of the season the the third division “Helmet of money” is reinstated in the championship of France, 36 clubs are then moved in this new division.
