A " scientifique" is a person who devotes herself to the study of a Science or sciences and which is devoted to the study of a field with the Rigueur and the scientific methods.

There is no precise distinction between science and technology although the engineers typically have practical goals with the spirit while the scientists study fundamental phenomena.
