Sarmiento (Chubut)
Sarmiento is a city of the south of the province of Chubut, in Patagonie Argentine, place chief of the department of Sarmiento, located at 140 km in the west of Comodoro Rivadavia. It had a population of 8.028 inhabitants in 2001, which represented an appreciable increase in 16,2 % with respect to the 6.908 listed in 1991. That locates it at the sixth rank of the cities the most populated of Chubut.
