Saraï
Saraï or Saray (" palais" in Turkish), located on low the the Volga close to Volgograd was the capital of the Khan S of the Horde of Gold after its foundation by Batu towards 1240.
It was destroyed several times between the end of the XIV {{E}} and the 16th centuries, definitively in 1556 when Ivan the Terrible conquered the khanat Astrakhan.
