Sandiás
Sandiás is a commune of Galicia (Spain) in the Province of Orense, place chief of the Comarque Terra de Limia. Census 2005: 1.554 inhabitants.
The commune has interesting and rich historical heritage and artistic.
Monuments

Gothic Church of Santo Estevo de Sandiás, works of the Master Bartolomé de Nosendo, built in approximately 1520.
- medieval Tower of Castro. It was built in XIIe century, with the remainders of the castle. In addition to the attack of the Irmandiña Revolt, the castle was taken by storm by the English troops, under the orders of the Duke of Lancaster. It was rebuilt thereafter and it played a big role in the war hispano-Portuguese of the XVIIIe century. There is a whole mythological world of legends on this castle, where the warriors and the submerged cities are the protagonists.
