Sam Taylor-Wood

Sam Taylor-Wood (born in 1967 in England) is a Photographe and a vidéaste. It is a major actress of photography contemporary plastician. She graduate of Goldsmiths College and is married with the galerist Jay Joplin. Its work is centered on the difficulty of communicating the emotions.

Its first films 16mm (1993), Killing Time (1994), Noli me tangere (1998) were presented for the first time in France to MEP. One as of its films, David (2004), watch the footballer David Beckham deadened.

Its photographic work most known is wrecked (1996), Soliloquy (98-2000) Self portrait suspended (2004). Crying men (2002-2004), photographs in black and white and colors shows known male faces, actors primarily, crying.
