Saint-Papoul
Saint-Papoul ( Sant-Pàpol in Occitan) is a common French, located in the department of the Aude and the area Languedoc-Roussillon.
Its inhabitants is called Saint-Papoulais.
Geography
History
Founded at the 8th century, the Abbaye of Saint-Papoul had an important radiation during all the Moyen-âge; the village was built near this one. It became Cathédrale at the 14th century, and this until the French revolution.

Today parish church, the Abbaye of Saint-Papoul offers with his cloister of the 14th century an architectural unit preserved rather well.
