Saint-Louis Sucre is a sugar group French producer of sugar of beet and of sugar of canes, pertaining to the German group Sudzücker.
History

In 1831, a sugar refinery is founded with Roye.
- Between 1850 and 1870, several sugar refineries are founded whose refinery Saint-Charles and refinery Saint-Louis
- In 1872, the latter repurchases Saint-Charles.
- In 1968 is founded Sugar the Générale group.
- Divers repurchases will be carried out during the years 1970, of which the refinery of Roye.
- 1990 : acquisition of a holding in Azucera de España.
- 1991 : creation of Eastern Sugar in Europe of the East.
- 1992-1996: expansion and repurchase of French sugar refineries.
- In 1995, the management of Saint-Louis, whose chairman, Bernard Dumon, perishes in an air crash (a Mystère 20 chartered was crushed on the airport of Le Bourget). Since then, a " saint-Louis" jurisprudence; is founded in the large companies in order to avoid making travel their man-keys in same the Avion.
- In 1998, Générale Sugar becomes Saint-Louis Sucre.
- 2001 : absorption by Südzucker.
