Saint-Lazare (subway of Paris)

Saint-Lazare is a station of the lines 3, 12, 13 and 14 Métro of Paris; it is located in the 8 {{E}} district of Paris.
The station
In 2004, it was more attended second of the network, with 34,53 million entering direct. The author of the shelter of glass of the entry of Saint-Lazare subway is Jean-Marie Charpentier.
Origin of the name
The station draws its name from the SNCF railway station which it serves and of the Rue Saint-Lazare.
History
- October 14th 1904: opening of the station, on the line 3
- November 5th 1910: opening of the station of the line has North-South (today line 12)
- February 26th 1911: opening of the station of the line B of North-South (today line 13) the
- July 12th 1999: opening of the station of the RER Haussmann-Saint-Lazare
- December 16th 2003: opening of the station of the line 14 and the corridor of correspondences towards Saint-Augustin
