History
The village is known also under the name of Saint-Felix-with-Caraman . In 1167 the Cathares meet here in the Synode of Saint-Felix under the presidency of the dad Nicétas. It has comforted the bishops cathares of France (of north), Lombardy, Toulouse, Albi, Agen and Carcassonne.

Into 1921, the common one changes name. Saint-Felix becomes Saint-Felix-Lauragais.
