S.P. Srivastava

The Professor S.P. Srivastava taught yogic science at the University of Lakhimpur (Uttar Pradesh, India). He wanted to abolish the border between sciences known as hard, the Yoga and the Spiritualité.

The French psychiatrist Bernard Auriol presents it like a very large expert of the Urdu texts and a specialist in the Sahaj Marg.

The successor of Babuji

At the end of the years 1940, this eminent professor of philosophy became acquainted with Sri Ramchandra Babuji, the founder of the Shri RAM Chandra Mission of Shajahanpur and of the teaching of the Sahaj Marg. He became one of the most enthusiastic disciples about it.

President of the SRCM (1983-1994)

In 1983, with died of sound Guru Babuji, a group of seniors tutors met to give a new president to the Shri RAM Chandra Mission. According to this group, Babuji had not designated its successor. They created an work group and Professor S.P. Srivastava assumed the chairmanship of it, in waiting to find the true representative spiritual of Babuji. He thus became president of association Shri RAM Chandra Mission of Shajahanpur, whose statutes were deposited in Lucknow in 1945.

Others did not have this opinion, they recognized the veracity of a written letter by Babuji (what is disputed) which indicated Shri Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari like chair Mission. This last was also proclaimed spiritual representative of Babuji. It created its own company with nonlucrative goal, recorded in California under the same name of Shri RAM Chandra Mission.

Others still, as Sri K.C. Narayana with the ISRC recognize that Shri Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari was indicated president, but refuse the title of spiritual representative to him. They have one eternally alive Master, Sri Ramchandra Babuji.

Transfer of power

In 1994, Sri Umeshchandra Saxena, one of wire of Sri Ramchandra Babuji, was presented to Shajahanpur in front of the work group and his president with a letter of his father. The seniors tutors discussed and recognized the validity of this mail which named Sri Umeshchandra Saxena president.

Doctor S.P. Srivastava gave his resignation and yielded the place to Sri Umeshchandra Saxena. It is the latter which chairs today SRCM of Shajahanpur, rested by his/her father in 1945.

Doctor S.P. Srivastava is reprocessed today.
