Sūtra of Diamond
Homage to the Perfection of Wisdom (the Prajñaparamita , also called perfect Wisdom, or transcendent Knowledge), the Sūtra of diamond , is one of large the Buddhist texts traditional. The complete title of work is Vajracchedika-prajñaparamita Sūtra . Chedika wants to say “what crosses”, or simply “knife”. Vajra at the same time means “diamond” and “the lightning”: something of an amazing force and an irresistible power which is able to make fly in glares, to demolish, to pulverize all that is on its way - just as in practice, the Diamant is able to cut glass or the hardest rock but also to shine like pure water or the flash.
The central theme of the Sūtra of diamond is the Vacuité, the absence of character fixed and inchangeant of any thing, any frame of mind, of very thought.
