Frequentation

Since its creation in 1985, Ryanair knew an impressive growth. After the radical rectification of situation carried out by Conor Beam between the years 1991 and 1993, it is Michael O' Leary which was, starting from 1994, the principal project superintendent of the growth of the company. The benefit of the company were invested to make of Ryanair an main actor of air transport on a continent scale. The turnover passed from 231 million Euro S in 1998 to approximately 843 million in 2003 and the clear benefits passed from 48 million euros to 239 million during the same time. In a market where approximately a company on 10 survives and where even giants such as American Airlines and Delta Air Lines must fight, the success of Ryanair misled more than one industrial analyst. However, since the events of September 11th, 2001, one at low prices finds this same growth in other conveyers such as Southwest Airlines or JetBlue.

During the last decade, the number of passengers transported by Ryanair knew an annual growth of approximately 25%, passing from a little less 700  000 with beginning of the year 90 with more than 21 million in 2003. This is mainly due to the creation of new lines and news platforms of correspondence in all Europe. Ryanair became thus one of the largest conveyers of Europe and has even in August 2004 transported to Europe 20% of passengers moreover than British Airways.
