Rundle mount

The Mont Rundle is a Montagne in the National park Banff dominating the town of Banff, in Alberta (Canada). It was named thus by John Palliser in 1858 in the honor of the Reverend Robert Rundle, who had visited the surroundings of Banff in the years 1840.

The Rundle Mount is one of the most popular places of climbing of the area, but it is rather reserved to the experienced hikers. It could almost be regarded as an assembly line in itself since it extends on more than 12 kilometers, with many tops. It ends in the Whiteman' S gap with the top of the town of Canmore.
