The street of the Iron-with-Mill is a street of the 5 {{E}} district of Paris.

History.

Built in XIIe century. At the origin, street of the Count de Boulogne, then, according to Sauval, street Richebourg. In 1713, it was the street of Deaths, between the street of the Saint-Marcel Ditches and the street of the Bridge to the Hinds (currently street of the Key). The surplus was called street Permoulin. The street of Deaths became the street of the Dumb woman and the street Permoulin became the street of Iron with Mill. The two ways were joined together under the name of Fer with Mill, in 1806.

Origin of the name.

It owes its current name with an old iron sign with mill or iron with grinding stone.
