Rue89 is a Internet site created by old Journaliste S of Libération , launched the May 6th 2007, day of the second turn of the French presidential election.

Its posted speciality is " information with three voix" , with contributions of journalists, but also of experts and Net surfers.

History

As of the May 14th 2007, Rue89 knew a certain multitude by announcing the Abstention from Cécilia Sarkozy at the time of the second round of the presidential election, and the suppression at the very last minute of an article on the subject in the Sunday newspaper .
