Royal Bank off Scotland
The Royal Bank off Scotland (RBS) is one of oldest British banks the, it was founded with Edinburgh in 1727 by a royal charter. Today it is more the large bank in Scotland, the second of the the United Kingdom and Europe, as well as the fifth in the world in term of market cap. It should not be confused with the Banque of Scotland.
The head office of the bank is located at St Andrew' S Square, in Edinburgh. The bank has agencies and offices in Europe, America and Asia. The group is with dimensions on the index FTSE of the purse of London. In 2005 its chairman is Fred A. Goodwin.
