Roullours is a common French, located in the department of the Calvados and the area Basse-Normandie.

The commune is located in the scrap-metal virois, with three kilometers of Vire, in the valley of the Vire.

Personalities related to the commune

  • Monday morning June 15th 1998, in its house, Bernadette Launay, nurse's aide at the House of Reception Specialized in Transfers, killed its two sons Florian (6 years) and Emilien (3 years) by strangulation. Eighteen years earlier, the January 2nd 1980, it had drowned his/her the first two children Teddy (3 years) and Fanny (1 year), in the bath-tub of its house of Mans. This tragic fact various defrayed the chronicle of this village without stories. Assistance-looking after 43 years in January 2000 is condemned to 16 years of imprisonment, with one ten years security period. In 1981, it had already bailed out four years of prison.
