Ronald Hutton

Ronald Hutton (born in 1954) is a professor of history of the Université of Bristol-board and an occasional chronicler with the radio and on television British on the historical field.

The field of specialization of Ronald Hutton touches 16th and 17th British centuries in particular the Reform, the civil wars, the restoration and Charles II. He also wrote on ancient and medieval paganism and the magic of these times, like on the beliefs concerning the Sorcellerie and the Shamanisme.

Its book Triumph off the Moon: In History off Modern Pagan Witchcraft ( triumph of the moon: history of modern pagan sorcery ) described the creation and the development of the Wicca as well as the medium where it was formed.

Hutton is pagan and present an eccentric interpretation of its material.
