Roland TR-707

TR-707 is a Boîte at rates/rhythms manufactured by the company Roland in 1985.

It succeeds the TR-808 and TR-909. Although it has a sequencer identical to the preceding ones, it differs technically by its sound generation which is entirely Numérique. Unfortunately and contrary to the American competitors the modification of the sounds is very limited. There exists a version with sonoritées Latin of this box at rates/rhythms, the TR-727.

The bill-poster with liquid crystals will be taken again on the following series (TR-505 and TR-626 of 1986) and will improve during the years 1990.

The TR-707 and 727 were used on many titles of House and pop in the years 1980.
