Roland Dorgelès
Roland Dorgelès (Amiens, June 15th 1885 - Paris, March 18th 1973), is a French journalist and writer. Member of the Academy Goncourt of 1929 with 1973.
Biography
After a sad childhood, poor and difficult in Parisian suburbs, Roland Lecavelé, known as Roland Dorgelès, joined Paris with his/her parents. He studies decorative arts, then launches out in journalism, while collaborating with various newspapers, of which Messidor , Paris-newspaper , etc
Roland Dorgelès attends the Montmartrean circles where it meets Pierre Mac Orlan. He is familiar of the Nimble Lapin and announces by his articles in the Smile or Fantasio , but also by his Canular S well in the tone and the spirit of Montmartre of the beginning of the century. Its hoax the most famous remainder that whose the Nimble Rabbit was the theater. He wrote a play, ( the cord with the neck ).

Price Roland Dorgelès
Roland Dorgelès was lontemps president of the association of the writers combatants. Each year since 1996 this association, in collaboration with the ministry for the Culture and the communication, decrees the " Price Roland Dorgelès " with two professionals of the audio-visual (radio and television) distinguished for their attachment with quality from the French language. The jury is currently chaired by Michel Tauriac. Among the prizes winner: Jean-Pierre Elkabbach and Yves Calvi (2006); Jacques Pradel and Georges Pernoud (2005); Jacques Chancel and Michel Drucker (2004); Frederic Mitterrand and Patrick de Carolis (2003); Jean-Marc Sylvestre and Nicolas Hulot (2002).
