Rodney MacDonald

honourable the Rodney Joseph MacDonald (born the January 2nd 1972 in Mabou, Inverness County, in Nova Scotia) is teaching, musician and Politician in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia; he is current the Prime Minister of Nova Scotia since the February 24th 2006.

Beginnings

MacDonald is graduate Université Saint Francis Xavier and received a B.Sc in physical education while continuing a career of professional musician. MacDonald taught for Strait Regional School Board, the school Mi' kmawey in Chapel Island, and works to obtain a control in education. In 1994, it marries Gillis Lori-Anarchist; they have a son, Ryan, seven years.

Musical career

MacDonald is an accomplished musician and played his music of Cape-Breton in round everywhere in Atlantic Canada, in the central provinces and the North-East of the United States. Political career

MacDonald sits at the Chambre of Parliament of Nova Scotia since the provincial elections of 1999, representing the district of Inverness in the west of the island of Cape-Breton the. He is re-elected in 2003 and held several wallets ministerial different, as Minister for Tourism, the Culture and the Inheritance, Minister for the Promotion of health and Minister for Immigration.
