Robert Plant
Robert Plant (August 20th 1948, close to Birmingham, England -) is a Chanteur and player of Harmonica. It is especially known like member of the musical group Led Zeppelin.
Biography
As much of English teenagers of the years 1960, it is influenced by the Blues musicians such as Robert Johnson, Buddy Guy and Muddy Waters. But its tastes are fed by the very new high-speed motorboat of the American Rock' N roll , such as Elvis Presley and Gene Vincent.During the years 1960, he plays with a certain number of very directed groups Blues ( The Crawling King Snakes , Listen , Hobbstweedle , The Band off Joy , where John Bonham officiated, future beater of Led Zeppelin). In 1967, it records some titles for the recording company CBS, without real success.
In 1968, Jimmy Page then guitarist of the group dying man Yardbirds, wishes to find new musicians to respect professional engagements and why not form the group of which he always dreamed. Following a session with Alexis Korner the same year, Jimmy Page notices it and asks him to join it him and John Paul Jones within New Yardbirds. It accepts and proposes even the beater John Bonham.
Once respected engagements in concert taken by Yardbirds, the group will be quickly famous Led Zeppelin.
This worship group goes, during more than ten years, to hold the top of the poster, while leaving many albums and by carrying out rounds throughout the world. In 1979, Led Zeppelin records what will be the last opus: In Through The Out Door . After the death of John Bonham the following year, the members of the formation decide all to stop. Robert, after a few years of silence, launches out in a career solo, with a first album named Pictures At Eleven (1982. Principle Of Moments leaves in 1983, followed Shaken “Stirred in 1985, Now & Zen in 1988, Manic Nirvana in 1990 and Fate Of Nations in 1993).
In 1994, Robert Plant and Jimmy Page find themselves for the album Unledded and embark for an international round. Four years later, the duet repeats with Walking Into Clarksdale . Then, Robert Plant withdraws himself partially and reappears of her ashes in 2002, with Dreamland , a new album and a new group, Strange Sensations. In 2005 leaves Mighty Rearranger .
Robert Plant gave an incomparable vocal color to Led Zeppelin, and especially, the possibility of exploring, for her listeners, of the still unknown musical landscapes to the beginning of the year 1970. All the pieces of Led Zeppelin were invitations with the voyage towards the Celtic Musique, the Indian Musique, the Folk English, the Blues and, of course, the Hard rock.
