Robert II of Dreux

Robert II of Dreux , born in 1154, dead the December 28th 1218, count de Dreux and of Braine, wire of Robert Ier, count de Dreux, and of Agnes de Baudemont, lady of Braine.

It took part in the Third crusade and was announced to the seat of Acre and the battle of Arsur (1191). Income in France, it combatit the English (1195 - 1198), then led troops to the Albigensian Crusade in 1210. It helped his brother Philippe, bishop of Beauvais, in fight against the count de Boulogne and ordered the left wing of the army of king Philippe Auguste at the time of the battle of Bouvines (1214).

Robert II of Dreux and Yolande de Coucy, his wife, are buried in the necropolis family of the Saint-Yved abbey of Braine

Married in first weddings in 1178 (and separated in 1181) with Mahaut of Burgundy (1150 † 1192), girl of Raymond of Burgundy, count de Grignon, and of Agnes de Montpensier; marriage without posterity.

Married in second weddings in 1184 with Yolande de Coucy (1164 † 1222), girl of Raoul Ier, lord of Coucy and Agnes de Hainaut, from where:
