Rio das Antas (Santa Catarina)

The Rio das Antas is a Rivière Brésil ienne of the west of the State of Santa Catarina. It belongs to the catchment Area Rio Uruguai.
It is born in the tightened C Capanema , on the territory of the municipality of Palma Sola and runs out towards the south, crossing all the western part of the State de Santa Catarina before being thrown in the Rio Uruguai, a few kilometers upstream of the town of Mondaí. Its principal affluents are the Rio Jacutinga (Right Bank), the Rio Capetinga and the Rio Sargento (both out of left bank).
On the course of Rio das Antas will be soon built a Barrage. This construction will involve the flood of 91 hectares and the formation of a 10 km length artificial lake. It will be located at the borders of the municipalities of Flor C Sertão, Descanso, Romelândia and São Miguel C Oeste.
Hydro-electric the stopping unit/factory should be able to generate 16,5 MW (9 MW on average) for an annual production of about 80000 MWh. The stopping will be built in Béton and will have a 19 meters height for 245 meters length.
