The Drapeau of Monaco is composed of two horizontal bands: that of the top is red, the other Blanc He. Except the proportions, it is identical to the Drapeau of Indonesia, like with the Drapeau of Alsace.
The current drawing goes back to 1881 and its colors were selected as of the 14th century by the family Grimaldi. They are confirmed in article 7 of the Constitution of Monaco of 1962.
