Richard Piegza is an artist French of origin Polish E born in 1954, lives with Paris since 1982.
He works in the fields of art action, the video art, and the installation. Some is the materials used like the situations, it seeks to break with the immobility, by creating a space of visual, sound, gestural interactions between the objects, the objects and people, the images and the words/via Internet. Or how to always start again the Carpet stealing, or the Labyrinth like as much of Mobile Perpetuum, in perpetual motion, never really here or there but enters, always enters, never sitted, fixes, motionless, butterfly died in the Musée. The interactive exchange is fundamental in its activity since the Années 1980, like crossings of exchanges.
Of 1978 with 1982, it created and directed Ambasada Lingua to Poland. He is founder in 1991 of the company Wizya Vidéo Art Action . He is the author in 1997 of a film on the art of action entitled Performer' S memo pad .
In May 1998, with Michel Giroud and Charles Dreyfus, it organized a videoconference, DADA-FLUXUS in the Center of Contemporary art of Vilnius. He is the founder of the Flying Carpet Airlines, and the cofounder of the first interactive Festival free-Polish ( Interakcje ) with Piotrków Trybunalski in the center of the Poland.
