Reward for the soldiers deserving in ancient Egypt
For a long time, the Pharaon S have as a habit to reward their most remarkable subjects. To reward a soldier is, for Pharaon, the occasion to check its popularity. With its feet, the scribes note the names of the impétrants scrupulously and establish a precise inventory of what Pharaon gave this day: objects out of gold, Deben of gold and money, grounds and advances.
