Remy Zero

Remy Zero was a group of alternative Rock of the Alabama made of Cinjun Tate (song, guitar), Shelby Tate (song, guitar, keyboard), Gregory Slay (battery), Cedric Lemoyne (low) and Jeffrey Cain (guitar).

Their cassette of demonstration is discovered by Radiohead which invites them to take part in their round The Bends through the the United States. They move with Birmingham in Alabama with Los Angeles where several members of the group will suffer from excessive consumption of drugs and problems from housing.

Their first album, Remy Zero , appears in January 1996. Influenced by these experiments in Los Angeles, the album is not success. Finally, they are recognized with the second, Villa Elaine , of the name of the building where they lived with Hollywood. The troisème album, The Golden delicious Hum , also knows warm welcome of the public.

It is of this third album that is resulting the song “Save Me” which is useful for the credits of opening of the Televised series Smallville . “Fair” of Villa Elaine was useful in the film Garden State .

The members of Remy Zero separated after The Golden Hum and several of them joined other groups. Shelby and Cinjun Tate created Spartan Fidelity, Jeffrey Cain joined Isidore and Gregory Slay joined Sleepwell.
