Reimerswaal (common)
Reimerswaal is a commune of the Netherlands, in the province of Zealand, on the peninsula of Zuid-Beveland.
The commune of Reimerswaal was created in 1970 following the fusion of the communes of Krabbendijke, Kruiningen, Rilland-Bath, Waarde and Yerseke. Its name comes from the medieval city of Reimerswaal which was in the north of the current commune, in the flooded Pays of Zuid-Beveland ( Verdronken Land van Zuid-Beveland , also called Verdronken Land van Reimerswaal ).
