Red magpie of Sweden
The black and white red of Sweden is a bovine race Swedish. It is called Svensk rödbrokig boskap or Svensk röd och saw boskap in its country of origin.
Origin
It is a relatively recent race which results from the crossing of the Rouge of Sweden, of the Rouge of Norway and the ayrshire. The genealogical register goes back to 1927. In the Fifties, bulls ayrshire were imported of Scotland, then in the Sixties, of the ayrshire of Finland. In the Seventies, seed was exchanged with the Norway and Finlande.Cette race accounted for 60% of dairy manpower with 300.000 invidus including 550 bulls in 1997, but manpower is in decrease vis-a-vis pushed holstein, paining to exceed 150.000.
Morphology
It wears a linked red dress, but there exist black and white individuals red.La cow weighs 550 kg and the bull 800 kg.
Aptitudes
It is a dairy classified race. It produces on average 8500 kg of milk with fat contents 4,33% and protein 3,5%.Elle is appreciated for the richness of its milk, its adaptabilities to the Scandinavian climate, its fertility, its vélages easy and its docility.
