Raymond Carver
Kedgwick (pronunciation: Kè-dje-ouik) is a village of the Comté of Restigouche, located at the north of the New Brunswick. Colonized at the same time by Québécois and the Acadian ones of other areas of New Brunswick, the village of Kedgwick was built at the same time as its forest industry. Today, forest industry declines and the principal activity of the city is the Tourisme.
Demography
According to the census of Statistical Canada, it there had 1.184 inhabitants in 2001, compared to 1.221 in 1996, that is to say a fall of 3,0%. The village has a surface of 4,26km and a Population density of 278,0 inhabitants to the km.
Administration
The Maire is Jean Paul Savoy and the city council men are Ghislain Bujold, Lionel Couturier, Gilles Mallais, Henri St-Pierre and Camille Tremblay.
