Ranges impressions
Impressions Ranges was a developer and editor of Video game rested by David Lester with the the United Kingdom. It resold the company with American Sierra Entertainment, who itself was repurchased by Cendant and finally by Vivendi Universal (known currently under the name of Vivendi SA). Since the studio was based in Cambridge in the state of the Massachusetts to the the United States.
Impressions had specialized in the strategy games located in historical contexts. It was mainly known for its series of building sets of city which began in 1993 with Caesar , then continued with Pharaon and the Master of Olympe: Zeus .
Myke To wrinkle, the former director of Entertainment Sierra had obliged certain change within the direct team of the company in October 2001 during the development of the play Lords off the Realm III of which in particular the arrival of Rod Nakamoto as a director. Lords III then remained the last business game was the subject poor of criticism on behalf of several reviews in March 2004.
The studio finally closed its doors in April 2004 when Vivendi Universal closed the majority of its studios of development of video games. Several members of this late studio to gather to form the new studio Tilted Millet Entertainment.
Among the employees of this old studio were Chris Beatrice and Peter Haffenreffer, cofounders of the new studio Tilted Mill.
