Raised Fist is a formation Swedish Punk hardcore originating in the town of Luleå formed in 1993.
The idea behind the name Raised Fist comes from the song Know your enemy of Rage Against the Machine, where one can hear there: " Born with year insight and has Raised fist… ". The group acquired its notoriety within the style hardcore through an aggressive musical style. The sonority of each new album is distinguished from the precedents, nevertheless the group tends to offer a sound more and more hardware to through its discography. Currently on the label Burning Heart Records, niche of several other groups Punk and hardcore, Raised Fist counts five members and has since the last album a new beater in the person of Matte Modine, old beater of the group of Swedish black-metal Dark Funeral.
