Ragueneau is a municipality of parish Quebec with the Canada located in the regional Municipalité of county of Manicouagan and in the administrative area of the Coast-North. It is named in the honor of Paul Ragueneau.

History

Economy

A sawmill (the Manic sawmill of the Kruger company) provided several employment, but much of others is located in the town of Bay-Comeau or in the close villages like Fall-with-Bustard and Point-with-Bustard.

Ragueneau belongs to the federal district of Manicouagan to the Parlement of Canada and the district of Rene-Lévesque to the National Assembly of Quebec.

Attractions

One finds there, on the banks of the reserve of the stopping Outardes 2, a site of camp-site arranged with electricity, and another conveniences. One also finds there a half family of Dinosaurs called Georges (largest) and Rita (smallest) . One finds there also an obelisk a height of 100 feet, including the course on which it was set up, this structure, symbol of the voluntary help, comprise 9 stages, representing at the base the MRC of Manicouagan and the eight municipalities that one finds within his limits.
