Questionnaire

The questionnaires are one of the research tools for the social sciences, in particular the Psychologie, the Sociologie and the Géographie.

Definition

The questionnaires are tools for evaluation close to the tests. Whereas the latter aim at highlighting aptitudes, the questionnaires extend to a more general use which includes/understands in particular the evaluation of the attitudes. Even for this purpose the heading Test (psychology).

Scopes of application

  • school and professional Orientation : In the field of the school and professional orientation, one very often uses questionnaires of attitude in order to evaluate the interests, the personality and the values of a person, either by referring it to a population (interpersonal) by a process of Standardization of the scores or, if the method allows it, by comparing his scores with his own criteria (intrapersonnel) what in particular the functional MĂ©thode allows.
