Quadrichromic separation
The quadrichromic separation is a process used in Imprimerie, in conjunction with printing works computer-assisted (CAM). The Quadrichromie generally reproduces the images colors by composing all the conceivable colors starting from four inks: the black and the three colors known as “primary”, are a particular red called “Magenta”, a blue named “Cyan” and the Jaune.
So that the made up page in CAM can be printed, it is essential that four files are made up corresponding to the black and the three primary colors. It is this operation which is called the quadrichromic separation .
