Qingyang (庆阳; Pinyin: Qìngyáng) is a city of the province Gansu in China.

The population of the prefecture was estimated at: 2540000 inhabitants in 2004.

Administrative divisions

The city-prefecture of Qingyang exerts its jurisdiction on eight subdivisions - a district and seven counties  :
  • the district of Xifeng - 西峰区 Xīfēng Qū   ;
  • the county of Qingcheng - 庆城县 Qìngchéng Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Huan - 环县 Huán Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Huachi - 华池县 Huáchí Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Heshui - 合水县 Héshuǐ Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Zhengning - 正宁县 Zhèngníng Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Ning - 宁县 Níng Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Zhenyuan - 镇原县 Zhènyuán Xiàn .
