Ptolémée de Telmessos , of the name of the city of Telmessos, is the son of Lysimaque and his third wife Arsinoé II, girl of Ptolémée {{Ier}}; he was applicant with the throne of Macedonia of 279 with 277 av. J. - C.
In 281, he escapes the massacre, contrary to his two young brothers, Philippe and Lysimaque, organized by Ptolémée Kéraunos, the second husband (and half-brother) of his mother, who has been just made proclaim king de Macédoine following the death of Lysimaque. He then receives Ptolémée {{Ier}}, as a dôrea , the capacity on the city of Telmessos in Lycie. After the death of Ptolémée Kéraunos during the Celtic invasion in 279, it tries to occupy the throne of Macedonia but it in is driven out by Antigone Gonatas in 277. The circumstances of its death are unknown.
