Psykick Lyrikah

Psyckick Lyrikah is a group of French rap originating in Rennes, composed of DJ Remo, the Mr.Teddybear producer and the MC ARM. This formation knew to propose a facet of the French hip-hop up to that point badly known: the abstract rap, i.e. a rap tinted electronic resonances and crossbred of glaucous, sinister, black environments.

The group left a mixtape “Lyrikal teknik” in 2003 with, in particular, the title “8 minutes”, collaborating, inter alia, with Iraka 20001 or Kroniker. Genuine crucible of the Abstract hip-hop in France, Brittany shelters another important group of this mobility, namely the group morlaisien Abstrackt Keal Agram, group with which Psykick Lyrikah collaborated on the album “Bad Thriller” (2003), over the title “And the night lasts for ever”. After several participations on compilations and albums of Robert Splendid the, they leave an album, “Live” in 2004. Later, the album which reveals them with more many people, “lights under the rain”, is greeted by the Inrockuptibles, with the marvellous ones “See” and “Final chapter”, very scholars - these texts refer to many authors such as Albert Camus or Tolkien -, been useful by the flow of a ARM rather languorous and marked by a great melancholy. This album accommodates collaborations with Abstrackt keal agram or Robert the Splendid one. The group took part in the Festival of the Old Plow (Carhaix) in 2005, the same day as of other rappeurs underground, namely Busdriver and including all taxes.

Currently, they are made a name by traversing various scenes of France.

One also could find ARM and Robert the Splendid one on the boards, accompanied by the company Unijambiste, for a version revisited of the Famous Hamlet part of not less famous Shakespeare. A chief of work mixing with knowing its, light and theater.
