Pruning
The pruning is a form of size consisting in removing the side branches or the summit of a Arbre to support the growth of rejection S or foliage. These rejections are exploited periodically with business ends, to produce for example Combustible, Fourrage for the animals or of the Osier for the Vannage (Saule S and Peuplier S).
The tree thus pruned is called " Tadpole " because of its form (a rectilinear Trunk finished by a famous person from which all the rejections leave).
" trees of émonde" are often selected among the trees of Haie S or alignment: Charm, Oak, Ash, Elm, Poplar, Willow.
One practices also pruning to withdraw trees from the Abroutissement,
Pruning is distinguished from the pruning by harvest and the use which is made wood cut.
When pruning is practiced in Sylviculture, one speaks about Régime of coppice.
