Prospero or Prospero (U XVIII Prospero) is a satellite of Uranus.

Prospero was discovered in 1999 by the team of Matthew J. Holman. Its temporary designation was S/1999 U 3 . Like the majority of the satellites external of Uranus, its orbit is Rétrograde.

Name “Prospero” comes from that of the wizard, duke of Milan in the part “the Storm” of William Shakespeare.
