Price L. - E. - Ouimet-Molson

The price L. - E. - Ouimet-Molson was created in 1974. This price is given by the critic at the beginning of each year and rewards best the Feature-length film realized with the Quebec at the time of the previous year.

This price will be decreed until in 1980 by the Québécois Association of the film critics ( AQCC ). The following year, its name is changed into price L. - E. - Ouimet-Molson , in homage to the pioneer of the Québécois cinema, Léo-Ernest Ouimet.

In 1995, the Brewery Molson, up to that point silent partner, discocie of this price following a declaration of the prize winner, Pierre Falardeau. It became then price Belle Mouth-AQCC , then price AQCC-SODEC the following year.
