Port-Saïd

Port-Saïd in (Arab بورسعيد, Būr Saʻīd ) is a harbor city the North-East of the Egypt (31°15' NR - 32°18' E) to the outlet of the Suez Canal in the Mediterranean, with a population of more than: 500000 people.

The base of the saving in Port-Saïd is fishing and chemical industries, food and snuffboxes. In addition to being a station of supply for the ships which cross the channel, it is Port-Saïd which a good part of the Egyptian production exports, like cotton and rice. But Port-Saïd is also a Free zone and a vacation resort of summer for many Egyptians.

It is one of the most beautiful towns of Egypt. There are many old houses with large balconies on each floor. On Eastern bank of the channel Port Fouad, accessible is by free ferry.
