Pop latino

The term pop " Latino " (or pop Latin , in English, Latin pop ) applies to the Pop music Latin America but also of the “Latin” countries of Europe (Spain and Portugal especially, but also Italy) (although in Europe, the term refers especially in the Latin America, because one distinguishes each country there and one speaks about pop Frenchwoman, pop Italian, pop Spanish…), or originating in these countries there, or in one of these languages there. She is distinguished thus from pop Anglo-Saxon.

Certain pop songs are thus qualified pop Latin because their words comprise passages in Spanish or Italian, or are influenced by the Latin Musique: Madonna (" Isla Bonita "), Spice Girls (" Spice up Your Life"), Marija Naumova (" I Wanna" (Eurovision 2002)), Geri Halliwell (" Semi Chico Latino"), Expensive (" Dov' E Amore"), etc

Often, the pop artists Latin do not interpret only the pop one but also of other kinds of Latin Musique. Some interpret another kind rather and only make the pop one to conquer more many people, in the same way sing they sometimes in English or Spanglish. The same piece can be also proposed by an artist in a pop version, and another in a kind latino (for example, certain songs of Salsa of Frankie Negron…).

The American magazine Billboard established each week a Hit-parade pop latino, the Latin Pop Airplay .

Also, their music can have influences of other kinds of the Latin music (the Colombia NS Juanes and Cabas amalgamate Pop-rock'n'roll and rates/rhythms Colombia NS such as the Cumbia…).

While pop Anglo-Saxon is primarily Remix ée in version Dance, the pop latino is also often remixée in Latin Reggaeton, house, Dance latino or sometimes in Salsa.
