Pop Satori

Pop Satori is the third album of Etienne Daho published on April 1st 1986 and considered as the album founder of the pop Frenchwoman. This album was preceded by the exit by individual “the Tombé for France ”, published in 1985, whose clip will be produced by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and who will be Disque of gold. Two others individual will be extracted from this album: “ Shoulder Tattoo ” and “ Duel with the Sun ”. For this album Etienne Daho wished to make it produce by Torch Song, the group William Orbit (future producer of Madonna, Blur,…), but the recording badly occurred (Torch Song being seldom present at the studio), the album was thus finished in Paris with Arnold Turboust and Rico Conning.

October 2nd 2006, Capitol left a version “deluxe” the album. It includes/understands the original album, “Pop Satori Show”, recorded in Olympia in 1986, but also of the remixes and the demonstrations.

The album will be Disque of gold in 1986 and Disque of platinum in 1987.
