the Polytechnic school of the University of Nantes (Polytech' Nantes) is a school of engineers comprising 5 departments distributed out of 2 sites (Nantes and Saint-Nazaire). It is resulting from fusion, in 2000, of IRESTE, ISITEM and ESA IGELEC. The school accommodates each year more than 1200 students. The trainings of engineers are pressed on powerful poles of research and confirmed pedagogical teams. Possibilities are offered to prolong the formation by Master and a Doctorate.
Opening of a formation post diploma for the occupation of engineer Ingénierie of businesses as from September 2005.

The school also proposes a diploma for the occupation of project manager, software and networks in continuing education. This Diploma of University of the Industrial techniques of Software (DUTIL) is addressed to a public bac+2 having a 3 years track records minimum.
The Institute of the Man and Technology (IHT), component of the Polytechnic school of the university of Nantes, proposes two trainings in associated Management Qualité Safety Environment (MARPEQ and MAQSE university degree). These one year formations based on the principle of alternation are addressed to graduates, engineers frameworks in activity or applicants for work of a level bac+4 (or equivalent track records).
