Pluguffan

Pluguffan (originally Breton Pluguën in ) is a common department of the Finistere, in the area Brittany, in France.

Located at approximately 8 kilometers in the west of Quimper, the commune of Pluguffan shelters the Aéroport of Quimper Cornwall which is managed by the Chamber of commerce and of industry of Quimper Cornwall.

Etymology

Pluguffan comes from Breton “the ploe” (parish) and from Cuvan, a Breton saint (become Cuffan).

Pluguffan is located in Pays Glazig, in the province of Cornwall, with the limit of the Pays Bigouden.
